Monthly Favorites: April 2014

Clearasil Raspberry Toner - I bought this product around the end of March and after using it a few times I wrote a First Impressions post. Since then, I have been using it on a pretty regular basis and I have been loving it! It makes my skin feel great and the smell is so refreshing. Also, I do believe it that it has helped to clear my skin of blemishes.

Yes to Tomatoes Moisturizer - This moisturizer feels fantastic! I've used the Yes to Cucumbers Moisturizer and loved the way applying it felt and the way my skin felt afterward. So I thought I would try the Tomatoe one, as it claimed to help clear skin. The texture is exactly the same as the cucumber one (hooray) and this far I am absolutely loving it! Since I have been using other acne treatment type products I can't really say much to the 'clear skin' aspect, but my skin has continued to improve with the use of my current products.

Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Deep Coral - You may have seen this product in my most recent collective haul (here). But since I bought it it's been my go-to blush. I've honestly been wearing it everyday. It's a really beautiful pinky coral with a little gold running through it, perfect I tell you. It's been wonderful for spring and I'll bet I'll be wearing into summer as well. I love it.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - This had been another go-to product since I bought it (also found in this Collective Haul). I'm in college and I have a research project and am taking a class that requires me to be in lab (including goggles an lab jacket - yeah that's sexy) for more days a week than I would prefer so I often use a powder instead of foundation. It's easy, light, and this one helps me to stay not-so-shiny. This stuff definitely leaves my skin matte, but not too matte and with combination skin that was a concern. Basically, I dig this matte powder.

EOS Lip Balm - The one in photo is in Summer Fruit and I absolutely love it. I have like all of the EOS lip balms I have used, they're great. This Summer Fruit scent is so nice and bright and springy (even though it says summer in the name). In case you don't know, the EOS balms are smooth, moisturizing, and pretty luxurious :)

Benefit They're Real Mascara - I got mascara as a gift for Christmas, as I have recently developed a real interest in high end makeup. This stuff is great! I am not usually one to believe hype, one of the reasons I hadn't been all about the high end beauty, but it's real! Benefit, keep up the fabulous work. This mascara provides length, volume, and definition thanks to an awesome formula and even better applicator. The brush is basically a major feat of engineering. I'll be doing a full review and including a comparison to my favorite drugstore masacara soon ( I'll keep you updated).

Snappea Crisps in Wasabi Ranch - I must say, these are AMAZING! They're delicious and actually have some nutritional value! These little things are baked (not fried), have 50% less fat & have lower sodium than regular potato chips, and they have fiber! Like what? Yes! And they taste great with a highly satisfying crunch :) yum.

Lana Del Rey album Born to Die (not pictured) - Oh, my girl Lana, this whole album is so great! Lana has such a unique voice that I am in love with. Her music style is very unique and interesting and so much fun to sing along with! All of the songs on this album are great, here are some of my favorites:  Off to the Races, Blue Jeans, Diet Mountain Dew, National Anthem, and Million Dollar Man. Just so good!

Well, there they are. All my favorites for the month of April!
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed.
